Khloe Update December 13, 2021

December 13, 2021

One thing I can say is that this whole cancer thing has to be taken one day, one hour, one moment at a time. Today’s plans included appointment number one at 9 a.m. where vitals were taken and Khloe’s port was accessed in order to get blood to evaluate an entire series of panels including her magnesium levels and a CBC auto differential along with collecting other bodily fluids. A meeting with the doctor followed, then we were sent to the clinic for chemotherapy, and finally radiation. Seems simple enough, but we didn’t get home until 5 p.m. That is nothing short of a normal day of work for Ca Shan and me so this time frame for us is not the greatest of irritations. However, it is agonizing to drag our daughter around for a full day of torture.

Since realizing her new diagnosis from favorable histology to diffuse anaplasia and from the time we initially went to the hospital in November everything has been so fluid. We have since accepted the probability that things are more than likely going to change during all of this.
